About the Job

We are seeking an Automation QA Engineer to join our development team supporting DoD computerized testing projects across our Alexandria VA, Monterey CA, and San Diego CA locations. The primary focus is building and maintaining automated test frameworks using Java / Eclipse / Selenium while modernizing existing TestComplete test suites. You will integrate automated testing into CI / CD pipelines and ensure compliance with DoD security standards.

As an Automation QA Engineer, you will :

• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Java, Eclipse, and Selenium WebDriver
• Convert existing TestComplete test scripts to Java / Selenium framework using AI-assisted tools and manual refactoring
• Design and implement automated test suites for web applications, APIs, and database validation
• Integrate automated tests into CI / CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
• Execute automated regression, integration, and performance testing in AWS / Azure cloud environments
• Collaborate with development teams in a matrix organization structure to ensure testability and quality
• Maintain test data management strategies and automated test reporting dashboards
• Perform security testing validation against DoD standards including NIST, RMF, and DoD CC SRG
• Support load and performance testing using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner
• Document test automation processes, frameworks, and best practices
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and maintain testing artifacts in Jira and Confluence
• Mentor team members on automation best practices and emerging testing technologies

The anticipated salary for this role is $93,000 to $115,000. Specific salary offers are based on candidate qualifications and experience.
