Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Specialist to manage incoming and outgoing products, organize materials and supplies, and maintain inventory control. This role requires a proactive individual who will be the sole person responsible for the shipping and receiving area.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming trucks and outgoing products efficiently.
• Organize and manage materials and supplies.
• Maintain accurate inventory control.
• Operate a forklift to move products and supplies.
• Load and unload products safely and efficiently.
• Use computer systems for tracking and record-keeping.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in shipping and receiving.
• Strong organizational skills and inventory control experience.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills for tracking purposes.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience driving a forklift (hilo experience).

Work Environment

The role is based in a very clean and organized shop within a large facility. The position operates from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays required. The environment supports efficient workflow and safety standards.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $14.00 - $17.00/hr.
