Gardens Home Health is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to become a part of a great team. We provide home health services for the local area including La Mesa and Coronado.

Reports To: Clinical Supervisor/Director of Nursing

The Licensed Vocational Nurse provides direct patient care in a patients place of residence under the direction/supervision of a Registered Nurse. Provides nursing care within the scope of practice for licensed vocational nursing and accepts responsibility of individual nursing actions, competence, decisions and behavior in the course of vocational nursing practice.

Required qualifications:


Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License/ California Vocational Nursing License
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
1-year Professional nursing experience.

Preferred qualifications:


IV and Central lines experience.
Experience with wound care including use of negative pressure devices.
