What You'll Do

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate, in a healthcare environment.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a positive environment for staff, patients, and visitors.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.

Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas as required by location policies.

Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members and healthcare staff to support security-related operations and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.

Minimum Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

Customer service experience is preferred.

X-ray screening experience is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
