Position Summary : Summer Internship to help R&D develop new innovative products which include ingredients and formulation development, process identification and data and product analysis of test results. Key Responsibilities : Supports process improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and quality Work closely with cross-functional teams (production, quality assurance) Executes plant trials documenting equipment settings, key observations and trial outcomes Collect samples for lab analyses to assure that product meets specifications Review and interpret data to provide recommendations and next steps Perform routine data entry in computer and support, sensory evaluations, shelf-life studies, and quality testing Other duties may be assigned on an as needed basis. Education & Experience : Currently enrolled in Meat Science / Food Science / Biology curriculum in college or another similar undergraduate field. Interest in R&D / Production development. Working Conditions : Office work and plant work will require warmer attire. Location can be at the Montgomery, IL and South Holland, IL locations.
