As the Surgery Center Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in the management and oversight of all operational aspects of the surgery center. This includes ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, managing staff, and optimizing operational efficiency while adhering to regulatory standards. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance patient satisfaction, financial performance, and clinical outcomes. Additionally, you will collaborate with medical staff and administration to foster a culture of safety and excellence within the center.
Your leadership will guide a dedicated team, and you will focus on resource management, budget adherence, quality improvement initiatives, and staff development. The ideal candidate for this role will either have Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) leadership experience or hospital surgical leadership experience with ASC exposure.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a surgical or Ambulatory healthcare management role, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
- Proven experience in managing a surgical facility, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and accreditation processes.
- Strong financial management skills, including budget development and oversight.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to implement effective operational strategies and performance improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of quality assurance and patient safety standards.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to foster a positive team environment and promote a culture of collaboration and respect.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- A current and valid RN license in the state of practice (if applicable) or relevant certification in healthcare Ambulatory administration
