This is a RN Travel position. You must live more than 30 miles from the facility to be considered for this position.

Position Overview

Type of Position : Travel or Locals who live more than 30 miles from Geneva, NY will be accepted.

Description :

Registered Nurse - Night Shift Position

Schedule Details

3x12 Night Shifts, 7pm-7am

Every other weekend (EOW) rotation

Holiday rotation required

2 on-call shifts per 4 weeks (On call not required for 48 hour shifts).

Must be available to work through the holiday season

Must be able to float between multiple hospital locations

Position Overview

RN Nights (7pm - 7am) with EOW / Holiday rotations

Must be cross trained for multi units (med / surg, ICU, ER)

Must be comfortable floating to ICU / ER / MS / MST

Requires BSN and critical care experience

License Requirements

Currently licensed by NYS as a registered professional nurse

Required Certifications

BLS, ACLS, PALS required through AHA or the RQI system during clinical orientation

NIHSS (AHA or RQI specifically)

Basic Coronary Care within 6 months of hire

CPI certification within 90 days of hire

Preferred Certifications

Certification by the Emergency Nurses Association recommended within 2 years of hire

TNCC recommended within 2 years of hire

Required Qualifications

NYS license, BSN

Two years experience floating to med surg / icu / er

Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Ability to deal with people in a professional and courteous manner

Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities

Ability to enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling

Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills

Computer literacy

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Microsoft Office products and electronic medical record

Age-Specific Care Requirements

Must possess ability to assess data reflective of patient's status and interpret appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to age-specific needs

Must provide care needed by pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient groups
