About The Position
Position Description
- Provide advanced neonatal care in collaboration with Neonatologists across three Level III–IV NICUs (with affiliated high-risk delivery services).
- Expanding services to six Level II Special Care Nurseries in the Phoenix area, in addition to two Level IIIa and two Level II nurseries across Arizona.
- Responsibilities include :
- Attending high-risk deliveries (shared with Neonatologists).
- Providing care for all infants in the NICU.
- Evening shift coverage in Level III–IV NICUs alongside Neonatologists.
- 24 / 7 in-house coverage for Level II nurseries, with daily Neonatologist rounds and in-person support for emergencies.
- Flexible scheduling with a mix of 12- and 24-hour shifts to suit provider and team needs.
- No transport duties.

Job Requirements
Requirements
✅ Master’s Degree in Nursing – Required✅ Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP only – cannot accept FNP, PNP, or other NP certifications)
✅ Arizona state license (or ability to obtain) – Required
✅ DEA license (must be obtained prior to start, no exemptions) – Required
✅ Minimum 2+ years of NNP experience – Highly Preferred
