Job Title : Inspector Calibration Administrator
Job Duration : 12 Months Contract – W2
Job Location : 1845 W 205TH ST., Torrance, CA 90501
Note :
Schedule and Shift : non- 9-80|1st Shift|07 : 00 AM
Candidates Need 1.5+ years experienced in Metrology administration preferred.
3-5 yrs experience IPC-A_610 and / or J-STD-001, Class 3.
Familiar with ISO 17025, INSI / NCSL Z540.1 or other metrology standards preferred.
Experience with mechanical inspection tools.
Experience with a Quality Application such as TIPQA, Oracle preferred.
Ensure that we provide a quality product to our customers through diligent, effective inspection of products and materials and effective metrology administration, control of equipment, tools and materials.

To administrate and maintain calibration system complying to AS9100 and ISO 17025 for equipment, such as torque tools, oscilloscopes, RF antennas, force gages, thread gages among others. Updating calibration system cycle inventory. Enforcing calibration, FOE / FOD, and ESD protocols. Request quotes from main calibration houses. Generating purchasing requisition, non-conforming equipment records in our Quality Applications and ERP System. All equipment and tools are outsourced for calibration. Performing Quality Assurance related tasks in support of engineering and operations. incoming, in-process and final inspection. Reviewing supporting data, documentation and generating inspection records.

The Quality Assurance Team in a rapidly growing industry supporting mostly military customers.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Administrate and maintain calibration system to current updates.
Create and submit Purchase Requisition (PR) to procurement department for Purchase Order release.
Request quotes from calibration houses.
Coordinate with operations on site calibration schedule for stationary equipment.
Other activities related to QA LAB and calibration.
Support QA LAB receiving inspection area.
Purpose : This position is for an established and productive individual contributor in the Quality Inspection sub-family, who works under moderate supervision.
Education : HS Diploma or equivalent GED or years of experience.
Work Experience : 1.5+ Years
Physical Demands / Working Conditions
Sitting / standing 90 / 10. Movement between manufacturing areas and buildings. Frequent wearing of smocks for ESD and FOD control. Some equipment is over 30lbs weight and assistance will be provided as required. Packaging tools for external calibration.
Travel Requirements :
Limited travel for training and / or supplier source inspection purposes (local within 75 miles) may be required.
