As a Security Officer - Education Site Patrol in Bradenton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. Position Type : Full Time Pay Rate : $17.60 / Hour Job Schedule : Day Time Mon 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM Tue 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM Wed 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM Thur 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM What You'll Do : Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities : Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues. Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel. Assist visitors, staff, and students with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence. Support access control measures by monitoring entrances and exits as required by site-specific guidelines. Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements. What We're Looking For : Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements : Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Must be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. This position is primarily a driving post and is preferred for candidates with driving experience. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
