Burlington is hiring a Director of Procurement to lead cross-functional teams in developing sourcing strategies to support total spend management goals that align with company strategy, result in strong customer satisfaction, and optimize costs and supplier relations. The Director will influence senior leaders in setting direction for their functional areas by linking sourcing and business strategies in order to optimize business results. You will provide both strategic and tactical leadership in the areas of sourcing and price reduction on all non-merchandise spend. The Director will be a subject matter expert who works independently to develop sourcing and negotiation strategies and direct the execution of those strategies.

We are seeking someone experienced leading large strategic negotiations with key vendors and able to communicate effectively with senior leaders throughout the organization.

A Day In The Life

Drive Category Management Strategies And Incremental Procurement Savings

• Create and implement company-wide category strategies to deliver continuous improvement and better value to the business across spend areas worth $250M+ Direct the execution of spend analytics across designated categories, identifying options and opportunities
• Build and drive annual savings plans by interfacing and communicating with functional owners and Finance

Oversee Sourcing And Event Execution For Respective Spend Areas

Act As Primary Cross-Functional Leader To Interface With Business Leadership (VPs And SVPs) And Drive Team Development

Lead Vendor Partnerships And Overall Governance

Lead Procurement Operations

Pay Range $135,000.00 - $175,000.00
