Job Description :

The Full Stack Developer will be responsible for end-to-end development of web applications using InterSystems Cache / IRIS technologies.

The role involves designing, implementing, testing, and deploying robust applications while ensuring seamless integration across systems.

The ideal candidate will serve as a technical lead on complex projects and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities :

Perform full-stack development in web applications using InterSystems Cache / IRIS.
Define macro-scale software architecture and provide guidance to development teams to ensure interoperability and scalability.
Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
Lead the delivery of complete systems or applications and act as a technical lead for complex initiatives.
Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to define technical design, development strategies, and best practices.

Qualifications :

Required Work Experience :

Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development.

Proficiency in InterSystems Object Technology and InterSystems Cache / IRIS / ObjectScript.

Experience creating and consuming web services.

Strong knowledge of Object SQL.

Front-end development experience with Angular, JavaScript, and jQuery.

Hands-on experience with mGateway WebLink / EWD.

Preferred Work Experience :

Experience using Perforce or GitHub for code management.

Familiarity with VS Code editor and GitHub Copilot (AI) integration with Cache / IRIS.

Experience working in Agile environments with 2-week sprints, daily standups, and quarterly planning.

Experience using Jira for story and sprint tracking.

Involvement in code review processes for quality assurance.

Knowledge of industry interface standards such as HL7 2.x and 3.x, TopNet, OERDB, and SOAP / REST services.

Education and Skills :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent field.

Strong foundation in object-oriented design patterns, distributed databases, and data modeling techniques.
