Qualifications
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification
- Negative TB (Tuberculosis) Test
- Department of Justice (DOJ) level of Live Scan
- Valid California Driver's license or California Card
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Bilingual a plus (English and Spanish)
- Fees for the CPR and First Aid Certification, TB Test, and DOJ Live Scan can be reimbursed
Responsibilities
Take care of developmentally delayed children and adultsReport directly to administrative agentShampooing and bathing in tub, shower, or bedProviding hair care and oral hygiene and assistant with toileting, if safeAssisting with foodAssisting in patient activity, if safeLight cleaning around clientMaking patient's bed and changing linenEmotional support and motivationMaintain appropriate agency recordsSubmit confirmed visits on a bi-monthly basis by the 14th and 30th / 31st of every month.Adhere to all reporting regulations per policyAdhere to all safety requirements per regulation and departmental policyMaintain regular verbal and written contact with agency and notify director immediately of an unusual occurrence or change in client statusMust attend in-services as scheduledPhysical Demands
Must be able to move freely and be physically able to assist clients with transferring, positioning, bathing, and other responsibilitiesHearing and visual accuracy is requiredJob Limitations

Pay : $17.50 - $20.00 per hour
