Journeyman Electrician

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman who possesses a comprehensive understanding of one-line diagrams, area classifications, interconnect wiring diagrams, plans, details, and cable schedules. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with various electrical equipment and systems, including Motor Control Centers, MV-SWGR, MV-VFD's, UPS hardware, and control system cabinets in PDC buildings.

Must Haves :

• Journeyman Electrician license with 5 or more years of experience as a Lead Electrician.
• Strong experience in installing power and control circuits, including MCC, switchgear, VFDs, UPS hardware, power transformers, distribution panels, and transfer switches.
• Protection relay installation experience.
• Experience with the installation of power systems for Midstream Oil & Gas, Refinery, and Industrial Energy clients.
• Strong understanding of the National Electric Code (NEC) and electrical theory.
• Effective communication skills with management, customers, and vendors.

Work Environment :

This position is based in a non-climate controlled manufacturing facility. Most units will be built in the yard if they are too large to fit in the shop. The work schedule is a day shift from Monday to Friday, with weekends and additional hours as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tomball, Texas.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
