Job description

Field Service Technician

ENV Services, Inc is a nationally respected leader in calibration, certification and decontamination services. We are seeking a Field Service Technician to provide testing, maintenance and repair of HEPA-filtered devices including Biological Safety Cabinets, Clean Benches and Clean Rooms.

Responsibilities

  • Use test equipment to test, troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment at customer locations.
  • Receive classroom training and on-the-job mentoring with experienced technicians.
  • Perform required maintenance for clients safely and communicate with team members to resolve service issues.
  • Prepare paperwork documenting time, repairs completed and parts installed for each job.
  • Work independently without supervision, represent the company professionally and maintain a neat appearance.
  • Travel as required; company vehicle is provided and overnight travel may be anticipated.

Qualifications

  • Sound mechanical and electrical aptitude with strong troubleshooting, computer and organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer-contact skills.
  • Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to pass background check, drug testing and safety training.
  • Experience in calibration or HVAC within pharmaceutical or biomedical fields is highly desired.

    • Position Requirements

  • Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various positions (bending, kneeling, sitting, standing).
  • Willingness to drive for long trips and overnight travel.
  • Ability to work at heights such as a six-foot ladder.
