Tax Manager - High Net-Worth & Business Clients

Location : Flexible schedule with hybrid options located in Greenville, OH

Position Summary :

Join our team as a Tax Manager, where you will play a crucial role in leading a variety of complex tax engagements for high net-worth individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts. This leadership position is ideal for someone passionate about client relationship management, tax compliance, and strategic planning. You will have the opportunity to mentor junior staff, implement tax-saving strategies, and contribute to our firm’s commitment to outstanding client service.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage and review the preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns for various entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Provide expert tax planning and consulting services tailored to clients across diverse industries.

Stay current with tax legislation, conducting thorough research to maximize client benefits and ensure compliance.

Supervise and develop tax staff and senior associates, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

Handle multiple client engagements efficiently, meeting deadlines and budget expectations.

Communicate clearly with clients and team members regarding engagement status and technical tax matters.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance tax workflow and client service delivery.

Contribute to business development initiatives and assist in client proposal processes.

Qualifications :

Preferred CPA license.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; Master's in Taxation preferred.

5+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting, including at least 2 years in a management role.

Strong technical understanding of multi-state and federal tax laws and regulations.

Proficient in tax preparation and research software such as CCH Axcess, ProSystem fx, GoSystem, or BNA.

Exceptional organizational, project management, and communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team in a dynamic environment.
