About Advaita Health
Advaita Health is an integrated care practice providing psychiatry, medication management, and therapy for individuals experiencing substance use disorders, addiction, and mental health conditions including bipolar disorder, anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, and ADHD. We serve adults in the Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill area in person and patients across North Carolina via telehealth.

The Role
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our team. Working closely with our Medical Director and clinical team, you’ll provide direct medical care within your scope of practice, including psychiatric evaluations, medication management, health assessments, and patient education.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning
Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, health assessments, and physicals
Order and interpret lab tests, and explain results to patients
Prescribe medications in accordance with treatment guidelines
Educate patients on medications, risks, benefits, and expected outcomes
Collaborate with the Medical Director, clinical staff, and administrative team to ensure seamless, integrated care
Refer patients for inpatient care when appropriate
Provide counseling, emotional support, and preventative health guidance
Maintain accurate, timely medical records
Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited institution
Licensed in the state of North Carolina
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
Ability to pass Advaita Health’s background check, drug screening, and TB screen
Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills
Proficiency with G Suite, Microsoft Office, and EMR systems
Preferred Skills & Competencies
Experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment settings
Familiarity with ASAM criteria and integrated care models
Strong organizational and leadership abilities
