Seeking a FIXED ASSET MANAGER
Description : Under the direction of the Director of Finance and Accounting, the Asset
Manager will assist in directing activities associated with the Department of Treasury and working in the conjunction with the various major Department heads. There will be a focus on investment analysis and financial modeling. The Asset Manager will be responsible for the company's fixed assets, including acquisitions, divestitures, and evaluations. They will use previous experience to track our investments and make sound decisions based on that information.

- Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the department.
- Oversees the daily workflow of the department; approves leave requests and timesheets.
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with MCN policy.
Duties / Responsibilities :
Keep track of the physical assets such as cars, buildings, and other equipment in order to ensure they are used as intended and not lost or damaged.Assist in audit and compliance while monitoring fixed assets in multiple locations.Record fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions.Develop strategies to increase ROI and minimize risk.Communicate with departments, keep track of legal requirements, and be able to work independently.Assume duties of the Office of the Controller, as assigned, during the absence of the Controller. This includes the authorization of disbursement of funds, collections and investments.Assume additional duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably expected of a person in this position.Analyze processes and recommend / initiate solutions for improvement of services.Performs other duties as assigned.Minimum Requirements :
Education : Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
Experience : A Bachelor's degree in Business Management with a minimum of six credit hours in accounting may be substituted for an Accounting Degree. Must possess a minimum of two (2) years' experience fixed asset accounting. Must be computer literate, with good communication skill and work ethics.

Education : Bachelor's degree in accounting with 4 or more years' experience, preferably in governmental accounting and fixed assets.
Experience : Managerial experience is also a desirable quality.
Special skills : Experience working in a diverse multi-cultural organization. Knowledge of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation.
