State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA)
Position Summary :
The State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. This position is PRN (per diem) and offers flexible hours.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- ssist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
- Monitor vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
- ssist with transfers, ambulation, and positioning of patients.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in the medical record.
- Report any changes in patient condition to the registered nurse or licensed practical nurse.
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment.
- dhere to all facility policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
Current STNA certification in the state of Ohio.Basic knowledge of healthcare procedures.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.bility to work effectively as part of a team.bility to lift and transfer patients.Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
