NEW Histotechnologist or Histotechnician

Seeking a detail-oriented Histology Technician to join a large and well-established laboratory team specializing in histopathology. This direct hire / permanent position is ideal for those who enjoy hands-on tissue processing and are ready to work in a collaborative, mission-driven lab environment.

About the Role :

You'll report to the Section Technical Lead and Department Manager and play a vital role in preparing tissue specimens for microscopic analysis. Responsibilities focus primarily on cutting and embedding , with potential for special stains depending on your experience.

What You'll Do :

• Process fixed and frozen tissue specimens following established protocols
• Cut, embed, and prepare slides for microscopic analysis
• Assist with grossing and autopsy specimen support as needed
• Prepare and maintain lab reagents and solutions
• Maintain equipment and perform routine documentation and quality control
• Occasionally instruct students or new staff in histology techniques

Schedule & Team Structure :

Day Shift (M-F) - Includes approx. 1 Saturday / month (with a weekday off)
