Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of CT experience and current California licensure for an acute care hospital assignment.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a CT department within an acute care hospital
  • Shift times include day (6 : 00-18 : 30) and night (17 : 00-5 : 30), with start times at 6 : 00, 8 : 00, 15 : 00, or 17 : 00
  • Self-scheduling is based on seniority and all shift times must be accepted
  • Patient assignments are 1 : 1
  • No floating required between units, but may be expected to float between facilities within the state
  • Charting is done using Epic EMR; proficiency required
  • No on-call required
  • Block scheduling is subject to unit needs
  • Locals are accepted at the same rate with a local radius rule of 50 miles
  • Must commit to working at least 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
  • All required time off must be requested at the time of application
  • Former staff may return as travelers after 3 months and cannot submit if residing within 50 miles
  • Scrub color for RNs is navy blue; other areas may have scrubs provided
  • Free parking is available
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Completion of pre-start and annual modules required, averaging 16 hours

  • Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a CT Technologist
  • Current BLS, ARRT, ARRT Advanced, CA CRT, and CT certifications required
  • California state license must be held at the time of consideration; no temporary licenses accepted
  • Experience with Epic EMR required
  • License required if applicable
