Job Description & Requirements Specialty : EEG Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 11 / 17 / 2025 Duration : 16 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Title : EEG Technologist Location : Burlington, VT Duration : 16 weeks Shift : Day shift, Monday to Friday, 7 : 45 AM – 4 : 15 PM (5x8 hours) Job Responsibilities : Perform EEG procedures including ambulatory EEG, electrode placement, long-term / video monitoring, portable recording, sleep EEG, and evoked potentials Assist with nerve conduction studies and various evoked potentials (auditory, motor, somatosensory, visual)
- Operate, check, and calibrate electromyographic equipment according to standards Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for charting and documentation Work primarily in an outpatient cardiac device clinical neurophysiology lab setting Required Skills and Experience : Minimum 2 years of EEG technologist experience Pediatric experience (approx. 50% pediatric patients) Proficient in gluing electrodes with collodion Recent (within 2 years) experience with EPIC system (mandatory) Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification REEGT certification required at time of submission NIHSS certification required Preferred Skills and Certifications : Experience with ambulatory and long-term EEG monitoring procedures Ability to assist with various evoked potentials and nerve conduction studies
