Workers Compensation Underwriter - Orlando / Lake Mary, FL Area

Full Time Position

Lake Mary, FL (Onsite)

Join a dynamic, growth-focused MGA insurance company as a New Business Workers Compensation Underwriter in our Orlando office!

What You'll Do :

  • Quote and underwrite new business efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with company standards.
  • Build and maintain strong agency relationships through marketing efforts and occasional travel (up to 25%).
  • Collaborate with underwriters and cross-functional teams to enhance service offerings.
  • Deliver best-in-class customer service while driving profitable growth.

What You Bring :

  • 3-5 years of Workers Compensation underwriting experience with deep industry knowledge.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to adapt to new systems.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a customer-focused mindset.
  • The ability to multitask, solve problems, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Initiative to improve processes and contribute to a high-performance team.

    • Relevant designations (CPCU, ASLI, ARM) and a degree in Insurance / Risk Management are a plus but not required.
