Payroll Specialist

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Contract Payroll Administrator to oversee payroll functions using ADP Workforce Now (ADP WFN) for our organization located in Gig Harbor, WA. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll regulations, possess exceptional organizational skills, and be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Process payroll accurately and on time using ADP Workforce Now (ADP WFN), ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Handle payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies with efficiency, maintaining a high level of customer service for employees.
• Maintain payroll system records, including employee changes, deductions, benefits, garnishments, and tax withholding updates.
• Prepare reports detailing payroll outcomes and reconcile discrepancies between payroll reports and financial accounts.
• Verify employee timesheets, imported data, and resolve issues related to hours worked, overtime, or PTO prior to payroll submission.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless communication of payroll updates and compliance issues.
• Stay updated on changes to payroll laws and regulations to minimize compliance risks.
• Manage confidential information with utmost discretion and professionalism.
