To be considered for this role, here's what you'll need to bring with you :
- Associate degree (or equivalent) in a technical field
- At least 5 years of manufacturing inspection experience
- Above average knowledge of GD&T
- At least 3 years of CMM Inspection / Programming experience
As a CMM Programmer, you will :
Prepare electronic code and detailed inspection instructions for operating numerical controlled (N / C) inspection equipment.Develop CMM programs both at the CMM by "learn programming" and "off line" at the computer aided inspection station (CAI).Ensure compatibility of engineering drawings, design data, and fabrication methods with CMM methods and capabilities.Provide training to machinists, quality auditors, and technicians on CMM operation.Resolve compatibility issues between the CAI system and design data generated by CAD processes.Have above average knowledge of geometric and traditional tolerancing.Have above average knowledge of manufacturing, fabrication, and measurement processes to assist Manufacturing Engineers in resolving measurement system and manufacturing problems.May be required to create solid models using CAD systems.Experience with Zeiss Calypso and PolyWorks is preferred.How we care for you :
