As our next Senior Systems Engineer based in Richardson, TX or Cedar Rapids, IA, you'll immerse yourself in developing system designs and validating multiple domain Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) mission systems solutions used on the aircraft and ground stations being developed for our military customers. Primary responsibility will be focusing on customer needs and requirements in order to design, develop, and analyze both hardware and software systems, ranging from black box to the complex end-to-end platform systems.

What YOU will do :

• Capture, analyze, decompose, and trace System requirements
• Design, develop, and model systems and sub-systems
• Develop and verify test procedures at the system and sub-system levels
• Plan project level work and meet schedule, cost, and performance goals
• Manage program technical risks by evaluating requirements and design aspects
• Interact with a cross-functional team of Engineers, Engineering leaders, Program Managers, Business Developers, Finance, Quality, and Production
• Represent Systems engineering team at internal and external stakeholder meetings

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education / training, and key skills.
