About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum 3 years Cardio-Thoracic Surgery experience, either as a circulator or scrub nurse, or preferably both.

License : Current Registered Nurse license

Certifications : AHA BLS

Must-Have :

• Level 1 or 2 trauma center experience
• Epic experience
• No first-time travelers

Description :

The position requires working in a dynamic operating room environment.

The nurse will be responsible for circulating and scrubbing various surgical procedures.

The unit includes 41 operating rooms and functions as a Level 1 trauma center.

Experience in performing or assisting with a wide variety of surgical cases is required.

Familiarity with general, GU / GYN, neuro, ENT, and plastic surgery cases is necessary.

The nurse will be required to float to other operating rooms as needed.

On-call duties are expected, approximately 6 shifts within an 8-week schedule period.

Weekend availability is required based on unit needs.

No more than 10 RTO days will be approved during the contract period.

RTO is restricted during specific high-demand time frames.

Candidates should be prepared for a fast-paced work environment and teamwork-oriented atmosphere.

Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient safety and care are essential.

The role involves surgical multitasking in a high-stakes setting.

All candidates must possess endurance for long shifts and the ability to adapt to changing situations.
