Travel Nursing Job Details Assignment Type : Travel Med / Surg RN Location : Parkersburg, WV 26101 (West Virginia nursing jobs) Unit : 4N Ortho-Neuro (Medical Surgical) Duration : 13-week contract (Start : 11 / 24 / 2025 – End : 2 / 23 / 2026) Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Shift : 12-hour day shifts (0700-1930), weekends as scheduled Charting System : EPIC EMR Dress Code : Royal Blue Scrubs Estimated Weekly Salary : $1820-$1950 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license (West Virginia or compact state) BLS certification (AHA required) Minimum 1 year recent Med / Surg nursing experience Experience with orthopedic patients and PCA pumps Proficiency with EPIC charting Ability to float to other Medical Surgical units as needed Valid driver's license required for submission Med / Surg RN Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care to post-op orthopedic and neuro-surgery patients, as well as general Med / Surg cases Monitor and manage IV fluids and PCA pumps Collaborate with Patient Care Technicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members Document patient care using EPIC EMR system Participate in unit orientation and ongoing clinical training Float to other Med / Surg units as required Work every other weekend and holidays as scheduled Apply now to join our healthcare team and take the next step in your travel nursing career in Parkersburg, West Virginia!
