Med / Surg RN Job Details

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1470 - $1570

Assignment Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 24 / 2025 – End : 2 / 23 / 2026)

Healthcare Setting : Acute Care Hospital, Medical-Surgical Unit (54 beds)

Nursing Shift : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (7 : 00pm – 7 : 00am), every other weekend required

Hours per Week : 36

Patient Ratio : 1 : 6

Charting System : Epic

Scrub Color : Royal Blue

Parking : Free parking in unrestricted spaces

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg RN experience in a hospital setting

Active South Carolina RN license or Compact nursing license (must be in hand prior to start)

BLS and ACLS certifications required

Proficient IV start skills

Telemetry and cardiac gtt management experience preferred

First-time travel nurses welcome

Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions considered)

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a busy Med / Surg unit

Monitor and manage patient conditions, including cardiac telemetry and IV infusions

Administer medications and prescribed treatments

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Float to similar medical-surgical units as needed

Maintain accurate documentation using Epic charting system

Participate in emergency response teams during hurricane season
