Description :

Networking System Administrator -Linux

• Must have experience with utilities used to manage Linux OS disk file systems.
• Must have experience analyzing and implementing Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) requirements in Linux OS.
• Must have experience with utilities used to create and configure network connections in Linux OS.
• Must have experience implementing Windows Active Directory User Authentication in Linux OS.
• Must be proficient in reading and modifying User / Group permissions in Linux OS.
• Must be proficient in reading analyzing and troubleshooting errors within Linux OS.

Must have experience installing updating and upgrading Linux Operating Systems (OS). Due to federal contract requirements United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS / SCI security clearance with customer appropriate polygraph).

Primary Responsibilities

The selected individual will be responsible for monitoring infrastructure systems applications and processes and for ensuring that all issues are identified tracked and resolved in a timely manner. She / he will provide support for all infrastructure systems and will respond to hardware and software incidents and work with senior system administrators at times remotely from other locations. Salary Range : $168000 - $220000 ( Annually )

Annual Compensation Figures listed for this position serve as a general guideline and are not a guarantee of compensation. Compensation will vary dependent upon factors including but not limited to : Government contract rates; education; relevant prior work experience knowledge skills and competencies; certifications and geographic location.
