Sewing Machine Operator

Previous experience or training is a plus!

Location : Waterloo, Iowa

Pay : $15 / Hour

Hours : 1st shift – 5 : 00am-1 : 30pm

Job Responsibilities :

Operate industrial sewing machines to join, gather, hem, reinforce, or decorate articles
Manufacture products made from various canvas material into large shade coverings and awnings

Skill Requirements :

Ability to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl for 8 hours

Ability to read / write and comprehend oral instructions, short correspondence, and memos

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to use and read tape measures

Ability to sit, use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms

Ability to lift and / or move up to 50 pounds using a pushing and / or pulling movement

High School diploma or GED required
