Managing Director, Fund Accounting - Infrastructure
Oversee all aspects of finance and accounting for the Infrastructure group funds, including external and internal financial reporting, statutory and tax reporting on private investment vehicles, performance reporting, and liquidity and capital management in the funds. Drive strategy and lead integration of multiple functions (finance, operations, middle office) to improve collaboration and streamline processes such as internal global reporting. Partner with the Heads of the Infrastructure business to help them make informed business and deal level decisions. Contribute to the financial structuring of new, complex, private infrastructure funds. Assist with investor diligence requests during fundraising and ongoing. Build analytical tools and dashboards to help the Infrastructure business make informed business decisions. Create dashboard reporting for both fund investors and management company. Contribute to the ongoing integration of the global Infrastructure Opportunities and Infrastructure Debt teams. Present in front of large organizations as a senior member and representative of the Finance organization. Oversee external fund administrators, trustees, and custodians for all funds. Liaise with deal teams, investment operations and treasury teams on FX exposure to coordinate and implement hedging strategy. Demonstrate strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses. Continue to build out and evolve the structure of the Infrastructure Opportunities and Infrastructure Debt teams as business needs and strategies evolve.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field plus five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in a management role in finance and accounting. Experience must include : Operating in a global, diversified investment management environment undergoing a transformative period; Creating synergies across new businesses coming together to form a new group; Structuring complex multi-currency private fund structures; Applying knowledge of private company valuations; Maintaining a robust internal control environment; Developing, optimizing, and overseeing portfolio analytics; Building, leading, and mentoring high performing, diverse teams; Developing key reports and implementing frameworks, processes, and systems to create leverage; and Managing a valuation process for real assets. CPA / CA and CFA Certifications required. Less than 5% of international and domestic travel required to visit Infrastructure Finance and Accounting teams. Telecommuting permitted 2 days per week within normal commuting distance. Salary : $300,000 to $400,000 / year.
