We're seeking an experienced Wireless Validation Engineer to lead end-to-end validation and performance testing for advanced wireless systems in automotive and cloud-based environments. This role blends deep technical execution with strategic insight, ensuring robust performance across multiple wireless standards.
Key Responsibilities :
Design and implement test plans for 4G-LTE, 5G-NR, Wi-Fi, GNSS, and Ethernet systemsAnalyze wireless and IP traffic across lab and third-party environmentsValidate KPIs such as throughput, latency, jitter, and protocol complianceConfigure network test gear (e.g., Keysight, Rohde & Schwarz)Develop automation scripts using Python and TTCNSet up and maintain RF and fixed network lab environmentsPerform root cause analysis and troubleshoot system anomaliesAuthor test documentation : Test Plans, Test Readiness Reviews, and performance summariesReview external test results and provide expert technical feedbackRequired Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field8+ years in wireless / embedded system validationStrong command of 3GPP standards (4G-LTE, 5G-NR), Wi-Fi, GNSS, and Ethernet (IEEE 802.1AS, 802.11)Experience with PTCRB, GCF, and U.S. MNO field certificationProficiency with QXDM, Wireshark, and scripting (Python, JavaScript)Preferred Qualifications :
Masters degree in a relevant discipline with 7+ years experienceExpertise in NR interface (SA / NSA), PHY / MAC, RRC layersKnowledge of automotive HIL systems and coexistence testingHands-on with Polarion, Jira, Confluence, and Linux-based test setupsTrack record of driving validation strategy across cross-functional teams
