Position Purpose

The Director of Admissions is responsible for strategically leading the campus Admissions department to meet enrollment goals while ensuring compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, and best practices in admissions. This role involves developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies, managing the admissions team, and fostering relationships with prospective students and stakeholders. The Director will analyze admissions data to drive decision-making and enhance operational efficiency.

  • Attract qualified students who will benefit from the school's programs, managing the entire inquiry cycle from initial contact to enrollment. This includes answering calls, scheduling appointments, interviewing students, processing applications, and ensuring attendance at orientation while avoiding involvement in admissions testing or decisions.
  • Conduct daily audits of inquiries and oversee the Admissions team by hiring, training, evaluating, and supervising Assistant Directors and Representatives. Organize meetings and training sessions to enhance team performance and analyze admissions metrics to improve conversion rates.
  • Ensure accurate and timely updates in CampusNexus, including auditing the Admissions Blue Folder for required documents, and training staff to use the system effectively.
  • Confirm that all applicants meet admissions requirements, including background checks, testing, references, and interviews. Complete the Admissions section of the Weekly Executive Director's Reports.
  • Manage inventory and ordering of promotional materials, encourage admissions staff participation at career fairs, and provide support to the Campus Executive Director while collaborating with Financial Aid, Career Services, Program Coordinators, Registrar, and school management.
  • Supervise and support the Admissions Representatives, Assistant Director of Admissions, and Receptionist, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure effective operations and a high standard of service in the Admissions department.

This position ensures that the admissions process aligns with organizational goals and effectively attracts qualified students, contributing to the overall success of the institution.
