Position Summary :

The Certified Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) plays a crucial role in patient care by assessing individual needs, developing tailored anesthesia plans, administering anesthesia, and ensuring patient safety and comfort during and after procedures. This position demands a commitment to excellence and compassionate, high-quality clinical practice.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia assessments, including patient history and diagnostic data review.
• Create and implement customized anesthesia care plans based on unique patient and surgical requirements.
• Administer various types of anesthesia (general, regional, monitored) across diverse clinical environments.
• Continuously monitor patients' vital signs and anesthesia depth during surgical procedures.
• Respond effectively to emergencies with airway management and critical care support as necessary.
• Facilitate safe recovery from anesthesia and address pain management post-procedure.
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding anesthesia processes, potential risks, and recovery expectations.
• Maintain comprehensive and precise documentation within patient records.

Qualifications

Education and Certifications :

Active certification as a CRNA is required. A Master's degree is preferred. New graduates should secure certification promptly after program completion.
