Bellamy and Watson Assisted Living communities are seeking a Full-Time or Part-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide high-quality rehabilitation services to residents across both locations.
This position will be split between Bellamy Assisted Living and Watson Assisted Living in Dover, NH, offering the opportunity to work with two supportive, resident-centered teams.
As an Occupational Therapist, you’ll play a vital role in helping residents maintain and improve their daily living skills, independence, and overall quality of life . You’ll assess individual needs, create personalized treatment plans, and collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members to promote optimal outcomes.

Duties and Responsibilities for Occupational Therapist (OT) :
Evaluate residents referred for occupational therapy to determine functional abilities, limitations, and rehabilitation potential.
Develop and implement individualized treatment programs that align with each resident’s goals and tolerance under the direction of a physician or nurse practitioner.
Provide direct resident care focused on improving self-care, fine motor skills, cognitive function, and independence in daily living activities .
Set realistic and measurable goals that promote meaningful outcomes.
Document evaluations, weekly progress notes, recertifications, and discharge summaries accurately and timely.
Educate residents, families, and care staff on adaptive strategies, safety, and techniques to maintain independence.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, resident-centered care.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Rehabilitation.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA, confidentiality, and residents’ rights standards.
Requirements / Qualifications for Occupational Therapist (OT) :
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
Valid New Hampshire Occupational Therapy license and registration.
Experience working with older adults or in assisted living or long-term care settings preferred.
Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel between Bellamy and Watson Assisted Living as needed.
