Responsibilities and Duties
Provide 24-hour orthopedic surgery call coverage for emergency room consults and general orthopedic proceduresManage all general orthopedic cases appropriate for a trauma facility; severe trauma cases are transferred to higher-level centersConduct follow-up clinic visits for patients managed during call shifts (no clinic coverage for other surgeons' patients)Collaborate with hospital staff to deliver coordinated patient careMaintain clear and accurate medical documentationAdhere to all hospital protocols and safety standardsAdditional Information
