Position Summary

The Applications Engineer / Product Specialist responds to inquiries from the organization's sales force or customers about the technical aspects of the organization's products and services. Leads technical training about product selection, performance, and troubleshooting. Reviews engineering specifications and generates proposals. Develop skills and knowledge of the organization's products and services.

Education

Bachelor's degree in engineering, or equivalent relevant education and work experience.

Experience

• 2+ years of experience with engineering degree (Applications Engineer)
• 5+ years of technical product experience without an engineering degree (Product Specialist)
• Relevant industry experience (pumps, valves, system design, rotating equipment, etc.) desired

Physical Requirements : The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The work is predominantly sedentary and requires minimal or negligible physical exertion. The employee is normally seated; however, the nature of the work allows for periods of standing or walking at will. Strength to lift or carry files weighing up to ten (10) pounds; vision to read printed materials and computer screen, and ability to hear and speech to communicate in person, telephone or over Teams.

Work Environment : The environment is primarily in a controlled climate office setting but will also require time on the manufacturing floor. The manufacturing environment is subject to moderate changes in temperature, and the employee may be exposed to typical hazards of noise, flying debris, and overhead hazards requiring the use of proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).

Work Arrangement : Hybrid after first 90 days

Pay Range : $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 annually

Bonus Eligible : This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
