Description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated bilingual Medical Assistant to assist our medical providers. This role will report to our Medical Office Manager / Site Administrator and enable us to continue to scale in the healthcare industry.
You will be floating between ~4 different clinic locations. They may be located in Alhambra, Pasadena, and / or Arcadia, however this is subject to change due to business need. These sites are primary care and specialty clinics.

What You'll Do
Assists physicians, nurses, and other medical staff by performing administrative and clinical duties under the direction of a physicianAdministrative duties may include scheduling appointments, maintaining medical recordsClinical duties may include, such as preparing a treatment room for patient exams, recording patient medical history, and cleaning and sterilizing medical equipmentEscort patients to exam rooms, interview patients, measure vital signs, including weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and document all information in the patient's chartInterviews patients to obtain their medical historyRecords patient medical history, vital statistics, and test results in patient medical filesMust be detail oriented and possess strong organizational skills in a fast-pace environmentGood verbal and written communication skillsBe able to prioritize workload while remaining flexibleMay be required to work overtime to meet tight deadlinesQualifications
Must be bilingual in Chinese (Cantonese / Mandarin)One (1) or more years of experience working as a Medical AssistantActive and unrestricted Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in CaliforniaHigh school diploma or GEDYou're great for this role if :

The total pay range for this role is $21 - $24 per hour. This salary range represents our national target range for this role.This role follows a onsite work structure where the expectation is to work onsite 5 days a week. This position requires working at multiple clinic locations as business operations require. The home office is located at 1658 W. Valley Blvd. Suite 120 Alhambra, CA 91803.Work hours : Monday through Friday 8 : 30am-5 : 30pm, lunch hour at 12 : 30pm.Astrana Health is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
