Advarra is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Senior Director of Demand Generation to own the programs, people, and platforms responsible for building and converting marketing-sourced pipeline. This marketing leader oversees segment marketing, campaign operations, and sales development, driving alignment across go-to-market campaigns, digital channels, and marketing technology to deliver measurable impact on pipeline, velocity, and revenue.

This role blends strategy and executioncombining data-driven decision making with deep technical fluency in modern marketing tools, automation, and analytics. The Senior Director will architect and optimize Advarra's demand engine, ensuring programs are efficient, scalable, and tightly connected to business outcomes.

You will collaborate across marketing, sales leadership, and client success to ensure marketing investments translate directly into qualified opportunities and bookings. The ideal candidate is a modern marketer who pairs strategic vision with technical fluencysomeone who understands how to leverage the latest tools, data, and automation to deliver predictable, scalable growth.

Job Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Own and evolve Advarra's demand generation strategy to deliver predictable, scalable pipeline and revenue impact across multiple segments.
  • Lead account-based marketing programs across enterprise and mid-market segments, leveraging buyer intent, firmographics, and personalization to engage high-value accounts.
  • Orchestrate multi-channel programs that engage prospects and customers across the entire buyer journey, balancing always-on digital initiatives with campaign- and event-based activations.
  • Optimize paid media strategy across search, social, display, and retargeting to maximize lead quality, conversion, and ROI. Continuously optimize audience segmentation, spend allocation, and creative performance.
  • Champion innovation through emerging technologies (AI-driven targeting, predictive analytics, and automation) that enhance performance and efficiency.
  • Partner with commercial leadership to develop cohesive go-to-market execution, shared KPIs, and full visibility from lead to revenue. Establish strong feedback loops to continuously improve conversion rates and pipeline velocity.
  • Own and refine funnel performance, including conversion rates, cost per lead, CAC, and pipeline contribution. Provide actionable insights to senior leadership on campaign performance, channel ROI, and marketing's impact on revenue. Support a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making across all programs.
  • Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing demand generation team. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration, ensuring the team continually tests, learns, and scales what works.
  • Manage the demand generation budget across channels. Forecast performance, optimize spend allocation, and report on investment efficiency.

Location : This role is open to candidates working remotely in the United States.

Basic Qualifications :

  • 12+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience, including 5+ years leading demand generation teams
  • Proven track record driving measurable pipeline and revenue growth through integrated, multi-channel programs
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing teams
  • Expertise in account-based marketing, lifecycle nurture, and campaign orchestration across enterprise and mid-market segments
  • Hands-on experience with paid digital channels and proven ability to optimize performance and ROI
  • Technical fluency with modern MarTech and ABM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Demandbase, Qualified, Outreach)
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to connect marketing activity to business outcomes
  • Collaborative, growth-oriented leader skilled at building alignment across marketing, sales, and operations
  • Background in life sciences, clinical research, or healthcare technology is preferred
  • Physical and Mental Requirements :

  • Sit or stand for extended periods of time at stationary workstation
  • Regularly carry, raise, and lower objects of up to 10 Lbs.
  • Learn and comprehend basic instructions
  • Focus and attention to tasks and responsibilities
  • Verbal communication; listening and understanding, responding, and speaking

    The base salary range for this role is $160,000 - $210,000. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience and may vary from the amounts listed above. This position may also be eligible for a variable bonus in addition to base salary as well as health coverage, paid holidays, and other benefits.
