Graduate degree in Physical Therapy.Minimum two (3) years of clinical experience in therapy (PT).Must possess, or be eligible for, a valid, current license in relevant disciplineProficiency in electronic clinical documentation and basic computer navigationLicensed Physical Therapist.Demonstrated leadership skills and a track record of effective management in a rehabilitation settingStrong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skillsKey Responsibilities
Director of Rehabilitation
Summary
The Director of Rehabilitation is responsible for providing leadership, direction, and operational management of the therapy department. This role will drive clinical excellence, staff engagement, and regulatory compliance in support of the organization's patient care and business objectives.
Core Duties & Responsibilities :
Oversee daily therapy operations, including patient scheduling and workload assignmentsCoach, supervise, and develop therapy staff to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality careParticipate in hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluation of team members in partnership with HR and regional leadershipMaintain compliance with company policies, industry standards, and all state / federal regulationsSupport accurate, comprehensive clinical documentation and ensure all billing processes meet compliance and reimbursement guidelinesCollaborate cross-functionally with other departments to optimize patient care and service coordinationRepresent the therapy department in interdisciplinary team meetings, family conferences, quality improvement processes, and community outreachMonitor and manage department budget, expenses, and revenue targetsEstablish and pursue departmental goals aligned with organizational prioritiesPromote ongoing development of staff through mentorship, workshops, and continuing educationProvide clinical support and direct patient care within scope of license as neededStay informed of trends and best practices in the rehabilitation and healthcare landscapeInterested in learning more?
