Job Responsibilities

The Staff Accountant will :

Post daily cash receipts (ACHs, wires, checks) accurately and on time.

Prepare journal entries including reclasses, prepaid, and accrual to support timely close.

Reconcile and analyze assigned balance sheet accounts with full supporting documentation.

Resolve discrepancies by taking initiative to identify and correct balancing issues.

Provide backup support for accounts payable, vendor payments, mail sorting and other related processing to ensure continuity.

Deliver superior customer service to both internal and external partners.

Perform other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as may be required from time to time, by the VP of Finance or the President of THSP.

Required Criteria

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related business field.

3+ years experience in a similar accounting role.

Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, internal controls.

Knowledge of MS Office / Excel, complex accounting; ability to manipulate, analyze data.

Highly motivated self-starter that embraces the challenge of finding unique solutions to challenging problems.

Proven oral and written communication skills, organizational and presentation skills to interact with internal and external business partners.

High quality standards and meticulous attention to detail.

Work from office five days a week.

Competitive compensation consisting of base salary and an annual performance bonus.
