Bilingual Personal Injury Attorney

We are seeking an experienced litigation attorney to litigate personal injury cases in El Paso.

• Responsibilities :
• Preparation, filing, and service of pleadings, motions, deposition notices, discovery requests, as well as responses and objections
• Maintain calendar and case docketing system
• Prepare and present clients for depositions
• Prepare and conduct Defendant and expert depositions
• Attend court hearings and mediations
• Attend status conferences, docket calls, pre-trial and trial
• Collaborate with partner attorneys on case progress and strategy
• Submit regular progress reports on case status
• Negotiating with insurance companies
• Qualifications :
• Bilingual (Spanish) required
• Minimum of 2 years of personal injury litigation experience and / or trial experience
• Proficiency in Texas Rules of Civil Procedure, Remedies Code, and Rules of Evidence
• Experience with eFiling on Txcourts.gov
• Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Licensed to practice law in Texas
• Willingness to travel to Houston for onboarding, training, and meetings / team building events

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $130,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
