ADABAS Database Specialist

A company is looking for an ADABAS / DB2 Database Specialist to provide expert-level technical support in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, install, configure, and implement SAG ADABAS software products in an enterprise z / OS mainframe environment

Monitor, analyze, and tune ADABAS database performance, ensuring compliance with audits and regulatory requirements

Support disaster recovery strategies and perform migrations or conversions of the SAG software suite to other platforms

Qualifications

Recent hands-on experience with ADABAS Cluster Services in IBM z / OS Parallel Sysplex environments

Proficiency with SAG products such as PREDICT, REVIEW DB, and Natural Security

Experience developing and implementing disaster recovery procedures for ADABAS environments

Strong background in maintaining z / OS operating systems and IBM CICS parameters

Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
