Job descriptionMinimum of 5 years experience as a Fixture builder in the Aerospace industry. Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Responsible for executing the build as represented in the build prints and per the customer requirements
- Will calculate the unspecified dimensions along with laying out designs using various materials
- Will establish and coordinate reference points and tooling holes by using straightedges and measuring
- Lead a team that fits and assembles tooling components for Aerospace customers
- Does repairs and rework on tools as needed
- Will draw and prepare sketches for the fabrication department as needed
- May need to operate machines including lathes, Bridgeports, lathes and grinders as needed
- Additional job duties as assigned
