About the role

As a Principal Software Engineer , you will serve as a key technical leader and strategic partner in shaping the engineering vision of the organization. Working with the Chief Architect you will architect scalable solutions, set technical direction across multiple teams, and drive innovation in alignment with business goals. In this role, you will mentor engineers of all levels, champion best practices, and collaborate with senior stakeholders to influence technology strategy and outcomes at the enterprise level.

What you'll do

• Define, design, and guide the architecture of enterprise-grade systems that meet high standards of scalability, modularity, security, performance, and reliability. Partner with Engineering Directors and senior leadership to drive architectural vision and technical strategy across teams.
• Serve as a thought leader and mentor across the software engineering organization. Elevate technical competencies by coaching senior and lead engineers, fostering a culture of engineering excellence, and facilitating knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional technical initiatives and drive innovation by researching emerging technologies, prototyping solutions, and influencing adoption of modern practices and tools.
• Ensure alignment of technical direction with business goals by engaging with stakeholders, guiding trade-off decisions, and advocating for sustainable and strategic software solutions.
• All other duties as assigned.
