Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst with expertise in accessibility compliance and program management. This role will lead the development, implementation, and ongoing management of accessibility frameworks for websites and applications across the organization. The successful candidate will bring strong project management skills, deep knowledge of accessibility standards, and experience embedding inclusive practices into large-scale digital environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain an enterprise-wide accessibility framework aligned with WCAG, ADA, Section 508, and global regulations
- Lead cross-functional teams to integrate accessibility best practices into design, development, and content processes
- Manage accessibility projects from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
- Conduct accessibility audits, assessments, and gap analyses, recommending remediation strategies
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and QA teams to ensure compliance across websites and applications
- Provide training and guidance to staff, building organizational knowledge of accessibility standards and tools
- Track and report accessibility compliance metrics, identifying progress and risks
- Stay current on evolving accessibility laws, standards, and emerging digital technologies
- Engage and manage external consultants or vendors to support accessibility initiatives as needed
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree required10+ years of professional experience in accessibility, IT, or digital compliance rolesStrong knowledge of WCAG 2.1+, ADA, Section 508, and related global accessibility regulationsProven track record managing accessibility initiatives in large organizationsHands-on experience with evaluation tools such as Axe, WAVE, and LighthouseFamiliarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript from an accessibility perspectiveDemonstrated experience conducting audits, assessments, and driving remediation plansAbility to train and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including design, development, content, and QAStable work history with experience staying in prior roles for 2+ yearsPreferred Qualifications
Accessibility-related certifications (e.g., CPACC, WAS, CPWA)Experience working in highly regulated industries such as insurance or financial servicesStrong vendor management experience supporting accessibility initiativesWork Environment
This is an hybrid schedule role within the insurance industry, supporting cross-functional technology and compliance teams. The position requires strong collaboration, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive enterprise-level accessibility initiatives from planning through implementation.
