Job Description

The base salary for this position is $23.58 hourly.

The Host / Hostess is the guest's first impression of our HaLani restaurant and this person holds a very important role.  The Host / Hostess sets the tone, pace and vibe for the room with a warm greeting, eye contact and aloha.  Proper, accurate and kind escorting is critical along with managing reservations, server stations and timing patterns of our guests.  This person has a complete working knowledge of the menu and menu ingredients.  The successful candidate will work in a face paced and high volume work environment and provide consistent luxury guest experience.  Previous Host / Hostess experience in a luxury hotel environment preferred. AM and PM shifts available.

Qualifications

• Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• High school graduate preferred.
• Previous related experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain Tuberculosis clearance. CPR and / or first aid certifications preferred.
