Description :

Top diagnoses and procedures performed include port placement, Y-90, and adrenal vein sampling.

Additional procedures include liver biopsy, abdominal biopsy, deep bone biopsy, and G-tube placement.

Responsibilities also encompass CVC placement, removal, and replacement, as well as PCN placement and IVC filter placement and removal.

Common medications administered on the unit include sedation medications such as Versed, Fentanyl, and Dilaudid, along with antibiotics.

Special procedures conducted include various radiologic interventions for vascular patients, cancer patients, biopsies, and MRI scans.

Y-90 procedures are also carried out as part of patient care.
