Senior Attorney – Litigation

Our client, a highly respected law firm, is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Attorney – Litigation to join their team. Focus:

• Handle complex business, commercial, and real estate litigation matters, from pre-trial through post-trial.
• Provide strategic legal counsel and creative solutions to clients in litigation-related matters.
• Conduct legal research, prepare motions, and draft legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, and discovery responses.
• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Manage multiple cases, ensuring that all deadlines are met and all necessary documentation is filed in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategies and provide ongoing litigation support.
• Mentor and guide junior attorneys and legal staff as needed.

Skill Set:

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in the California State Bar.
• At least 5 years of litigation experience, with a focus on business, commercial, and real estate law.
• Proven ability to independently manage complex litigation matters from start to finish.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills, with a high degree of attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts to clients and colleagues.
• A self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Prior experience handling portable business is a plus.
